Unertl scope repair
I would like to get my Unertl scope repaired by replacing the objective lens housing. It has corrosion on the housing. I also have an older Redfield rifle scope that will not hold zero. Do you have any suggestions for repair?

I just aquired an excellent Unertl target scope. I can't get the cross hairs level. Hello, Unertl is still going; they are under new ownership and I think are now located in Texas. If you think you want to send the scope in to them for repair, post your email and I will try to find the address. Emery 0 -
I have heard from several people that they are not interested in fixing the old scopes, strictly in their military contract for sniper scopes. 0 -
Reticles are fixed & squared inside. Stay out of it unless you want more problems.External adjustments move the tube assembly.The top integeral rib, and the slot in the front ring keep the scope squared to the base mounts.Have you checked them?Unertl is still in Pennsylvania: Unertl Optical103 Grand Ave.Mars, Pa. 16046800-998-7483724-625-3810

According to the Jan.-Feb. 2001 issue of Single Shot Rifle Journal, in a letter from Kenneth Wilson, Chrm. of the Board, 21st Century Tech. Inc, the company now running Unertl,he states that effective Jan.31, 2001 their new address will be: Unertl Optical Company, Inc.5050 E. Belknap St.Ft.
