browning hi-power clone
I have a browning hi-power clone made in Argentina, when I fully load the magazine with hollow points it will jamb. if I only load 10 rounds in the magazine it loads and operates fine. Is this an inherent problem with the browning, or just the clone.Would a barrel change or magazine change help? This jamb only occurs with hollow point ammunition, round nose ammo feeds just fine.

I have a True Browning Hi Power and I load my 13 and 20 round mags full and have no problems. 0 -
I have had an FEG (Hungarian copy) that would do the same when using a full 14 rnd mag. If I only put in 13 then it would feed fine. I had a 14 and 15 rnd mags and they both would do the same. They would hold the correct # of rounds, but the tension on the first round was too much for the slide. Just an irritation for the most part, but I am looking for a real Browning now.

Is it possible to correct this problem by changing the magazine spring, the magazine or the barrel.
