S&W 686 .357 SS 6"
I am looking for a red-dot scope for my S&W 686 for hunting purposes. Is Leupold/Gilmore that much better than the Tasco Pro-Point? The dealer who sold the gun to me shoots competitively and does so in a very competitive manner. He informed me that he'd rather have the Tasco. It seems that a dealer would rather push the more expensive scope so I am apt to take his word for it. Which is the better, more durable scope. Money is not an issue for me. Also, is the red-dot scope a viable choice for my purposes?

Go with a Millet SP-1, the best red-dot out there. Very compact unit. Good range of intensities.Boomer

Natchez has sale running on the Bushnell Holosight. 0 -
Have you checked out AimPoint's Product Line, I'd say they'd be the best quality, not downgrading the Tasco any...I like the Tasco PDP, I'd get it before I'd get the Leupold. 0
