    Will270 is right for your specific question. An exception, which doesn't apply in your case, is if you are shooting heavy (250grain+)bullets, or at maximum "recoil". The uncrimpted bullets in the magazine could unseat and cause several problems (flattened points, failer to feed mostly).

    I don't crimp for this caliber, though I do crimp for some other bolt actions. It isn't necessary, though may make accuracy improve slightly with some loads. Just be sure the bullet is in tight.
