7.62x39 bolt action
Does anyone make one? I seem to remember them a while back, but can't turn anything up.

Ruger built one sold through Davidsons distributor. They are listed on the GB auctions. Just search 'Ruger 77' and you will find them.$400 or so.Now.... show me a nice Mil surplus bolt gun that has been rebarreled to 7.62x39, or an NEF single shot in the same.... and we'll be talking! I sure with the Mauser small ring was up to the pressure, they sure were smooth little rifles. 0 -
There are 7.62 X 39 Arisaka's out there. They were rebuilt by the ChiComs after WWII when many Type 38 rifles fell into their hands. The modification consisted of reboring and rechambering the barrel and shortening the barrel and wood. The only way I have been able to tell them apart as NO external markings were stamped is to try to chamber an original round. These make great shooters and are somewhat rare. 0 -
Check for a mauser 98 sporterized model. I have seen them in shotgun news. 0 -

I've got a CZ 527 Carbine. It has a detachable mag, really TALL rear sight, hooded front sight, and a 18.5" barrel. Also has set trigger option for a lighter trigger pull. 0 -
Interarms used to import the "Mini-Mauser" chambered for 7.62x39 and .223. They appear on the auction sites from time to time and usually go for $300-$400. 0
