I acquired a case approx. 7 years ago. It was/is (still have some) the highest quality 7.62x39 mm ammo I've encountered. Accurate, and best of all, non-corrosive and reloadable. You'll probably have to fire a round to make the determination if it's the same stuff. 0 -
der, thanks for the input. seemed to me to be of high quality. seller wanted $300 for the case. finally picked it up for $240. i didnt feel that $6/box of 30 was unreasonable. glad i dun it. thanks again.>bob 0 -
Bob you'll love it. I agree, it is the best 7.62x39 out there. It has the harder primers, so you don't get slam firing, and yes it is boxer primed and definitely non-corrosive. Great stuff. And yes, $6.00 is a good deal for a 30 round box. 0 -
lramsx, appreciate the info! yes, real good deal on the case. wonder what the stuff goes for these days? or if you can even find it anymore? i am pretty sure this stuff was locked up for at least a couple years.>bob 0 -
Last time I was able to get any was about 5-6 years ago. It wasn't cheap then, just really good stuff. 0 -
Lucky find! DO be sure & save the spent brass - Lapua is some of the best available. If YOU don't reload, you probably could find somebody thru G'B that'd be happy to do a deal with you. 0 -
spclark,thats a darn good idea. thanks a lot!>bob 0
