SKS Rear sight - help!

On my 1958 Romanian SKS, I've lost the spring on the rear sight, but it also seems as though the pin which is hinges on is flush on one side and protruding on the other. It also seems as though some kind of bushing is also missing on each side where the sight should hing on. Any advise as to where I go from here will greatly be appreciated. I hope this is a repair I can do on my own, I love the rifle, but not sure I want to drop some cash to a gun smith on this old rifle.[This message has been edited by just-shoot (edited 10-01-2001).]

  several companies in the Shotgun News sell SKS parts.I`m lookiong from add co in NJ,called SARCO 908-647-3800.they list a sks rear sight spring,part#SKS-061 for$1.95.try them.also try TAPCO at 770-425-4441.hope this helps,DD
