44 Magnum value

I have a S&W Mod # 626 44 Mag. nickel plated with a 6" barrel in excellent cond. would like to know its value

There is no Model 626...maybe 629. But, if it is a 629, it is stainless steel, not nickel-plated. Perhaps it is stainless that has been buffed to a high-gloss finish and looks like nickel? Open the cylinder and look inside the crane. The model number should be stamped there. If it says 29-2, it will have more value than a 29-3. I'd say $400-$450 is a reasonable price range.

The price range I gave earlier would apply to a 629 as well...if it shows no wear or abuse.
