Bore slugging question

I know I asked this once before, but darn it, I forgot!When you slug a bore, do you measure the diameter that the rifling pushed into the slug, or the diameter that the slug expanded into the grooves? That is, do you go with the largest or smallest diameter? Thanks.

  Measure the largest diameter. This may be difficult on some barrels that have an uneven number of lands and grooves.The "bore" size you measure is actually the groove size as the bore is really the dimension across the grooves. Verstehen Sie? Ach du lieber
