Para-Ordinance 'LDA' 7.45
I've got a chance to pick up a Para-Ordinance 'LDA' 7.45 (1911 double action) from a buddy. He's fired 2 boxes of shells through it, and still has the box, papers, video and lock that came with it. He has had it about 6 months and wants to trade it for a Remmington 1100 I have. Is it a good gun, and is it worth the $500 range?

Yes, and Yes. I've got one of the LDA .45s (double stack). Like it very much. 0 -

Bought it outright. $500 cash. Kept the 1100 for now, but let him rent it from me for the bird season. He gave me $75 rent, so I'm only out $425 on the gun. Last year he borrowed an 870 from me and I never got a dime, so I'm happy.
