Remington 1100 chokes
Dear Sirs
I'm looking at a 1100 sporting Clay 28 ga with the extended briley tubes (don't like how it looks or the added length). This gun will only be used for rabbits and woodcocks. The question is are the threads on the Briley choke the same as on the Rem choke?
Thank you for your help in this matter.

Yes the Briley chokes have the same thread, as the hidden chokes. If I were you I would pattern the Briley chokes against the hidden chokes, before you throw them in the forgotten box, you might be surprised how they pattern.

Good advice from ked-mar. The brileys were supplied with the Sporting guns because they are superior. 0 -
Remove the choke, tape off the portion that stays in the barrel, then spray paint the extended part black(gloss or flat). This will lessen the distraction of the bright extention and is easy to touch up when needed. 0
