MFI makes a very valid point. Most distributors who handle Remington firearms (or any major brand) will not make any firearms sales of any type or provide trade information to the general public and will simply refer you to a dealer in your area. This is a polite way of them telling you to get lost. Those of us who are dealers don't care much for the idea of distributors running parallel retail and wholesale firearms operations and most dealers won't do business with any distributor who makes retail firearms sales. Remington may well have an internal policy about this as well and may drop distributors who step into the retail business.

If you are a qualified buyer I would suggest that you attend this years Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade show (SHOT Show) in Orlando. You can visit the Remington exhibit and they will provide you with a full list of their distributors, dealer prices, and give you detailed info on what will be on the market this year.

One is Davidson's 800-367-4867. they have had several special editions over the years ruger, marlin, winchester, & etc. They are wholesalers, & do not sell to the public, you must go thur your local dealer.

Davidson's is okay if you are (01) licensed and wish to pay full retail plus. I have tried to work with them in the past but they want
full retail to licensed dealers, as myself. May wish to check the Gun List. There are better prices but for "short runs" good luck. As Mark
suggested, attend the "SHOT SHOW". 101

Gee...Davidson's sells to me way below retail, and I'm just a small taters dealer... They have really good service and a great website..Non-dealers can go to that site and get retail info, descriptions of firearms and quantities in stock... they can then go to their dealer, who can go to the same website, click on the dealer button and get the same info... with the dealer cost and shipping charges... They also provide a Lifetime warrantee in addition to whatever the mfg. provides.... Nice folks to deal with... www.galleryofguns.com

Davidsons is a little above most of the other wholesalers in the business with their prices ,they are nowhere near retail . They have a great feature with the "gallery of guns" where customers can get their best price from a Davidsons dealer near them and actually put a down payment on the gun using a credit card right on the site. Probably JSC and Acusport have some of better prices we've found for us dealers on Remington's. If you are a not a dealer dont bother with any of the distributors though you'll need to visit your local guy in the business and get his best price.
