The trigger function is the same. The quality is terrible.

    101AIRBORNE-

Why do you say the quality is poor? I shot one and it worked great, and it seemed like it was built pretty well. Ive heard similar from other people who own them also.

    cwinn,
The Norinco 97 was critiqued several months ago-you may be able to do a "search". I will advise as remembered and "hands on". All responders
stated the action was roughly machined-true. The operation was not smooth due to the rough machining. The stocks cracked or split. In my case, as 01 licensed, was given a Norinco 97. I shot the arm about 15 times before the forearm split in half. On the 17th round the firing pin broke. This was a NIB arm. Parts are metric and not interchangable
w/ originals/SAE. The dealer cost was $225.00. I was unable to find a pin nor wished to machine one. I did attempt to contact Norinco w/no
favorable results. As I will never ever sell a pos arm to another, I cut the receiver and sent the the serialized section with a photo to the BATF and DOJ stating this arm was rendered unserviceable. 101
