A recent issue of Rifle Magazine compared the Grand Slam With the Kahles,Leupold and a few other top name brand scopes..the grand slam won out hands down..a friend of mine owns one and he loves it..hope this info was helpful..

I have a Grand Slam in 1.5-5x and it is a decent scope. I would not rank it above Leupold, Burris or other high dollar scopes, but for the price it is hard to beat. Nice clear optics, reticle stays where set, and it seems durable. A good choice.

I have one on a Browning A 22 hornet. This scope is far better than my leupold. For the money you can't go wrong.Buy one and you won't regret it.

One of the better buys. Good optics, especially for the money since prices were (were) held down to but market share.
Prices have been slowly creeping up.

    Happy Bullet Holes!

i am going to open a big can of worms[^],as a competition shooter you can't buy a better scope BUT if you can stay with a weaver american made, some will say made in el paso tx these are the best scopes made in my opinion.if you can stay with a t-10 or a t-16 i have found these are the best,a leupold is WAY OVER RATED,a burris makes a good trotline weight, redfield is good if the junk iron prices are up,but thats why they build ford and chevy or remington and oh well

What da ya think o' that He dog? Trot line weight[:0] I'll put my signature against any comparably priced scope, any day.

In their defense, the Weaver scopes have shown me some real nice glass in the past few years. I wouldn't be scared of a Grand Slam scope, especially for the money.

    I'm a man,....but I can change,.....If I have to,......I guess.

Seems like everybody likes the weaver grand slam but me. All I wanted were scopes that shot as well as the gun they were on and I didn't get it with the weaver grand slams. I was very impressed with all the other attributes. Clairity of the lenses for the price is hard to beat.
