what would the value be for a type A like neww pre ban 9mm uzi original soft case and 2 32 round clips and 2 20 round clips all original gun had 125 rounds fired many thanks

The Model A UZI was made by IMI from 1980 to 1983. If this is an IMI manufactured gun and is so marked, and is also marked as a "Model A" then you can figure the value is pretty much in line with the "Blue Book of Gun Values." If you follow the auctions for these on this site and do a search for UZI's you will find this is true. Condition is very important to value. The closer to Original and Un-Fired condition brings the highest amount. Original Box and included accessories are also considered. This gun came with only one 25 round IMI marked magazine when new. Additional magazines will increase the sales price in most cases. IMI marked magazines are more expensive than some of the others around. South African or Belgium UZI mags are second in line and then comes the "aftermarket" manufacturers such as "USA Mags, etc." These are the least desireable magazines.
I have seen some of these sell for around $1,200 and up to as much as $1,500, but the higher prices were Original and with some additional accessories in most cases. Your gun sounds as if it might fall into this category, but you would have to evaluate it for condition. Original Soft Cases were NOT furnished and were "extras" when new. These cases will bring as little as $65 and up to as much as $200 on this site and one the other Auction sites by itself depending on condition. This "extra" is highly collectible and quite coveted by collectors. Hope this helps!

The model A uzi was made by IMI between 1979 and 1983 in Isreal. In good condition with the "MODEL A" stamp, it would be worth somewhere between $1200 and $1500. But as with all things,it is worth what the market will bear.Good Luck.
P.S.Some early examples of the Model A used MILITARY upper and lower recievers, Only the trigger group was different. These guns can Bring a premium, however, they are also the subject to closer scrutiny of law enforcement should this fact come to there attention.0 -

The Black Plastic fitted hardcase was made for the Model B carbine and this gun came originally in one of these. These are also very difficult to find.....mainly because most folks keep their gun in them and they don't get separated as easily as the Blue Cardboard box that the Model A came in. I have seen these sell on Auction sites from $75 for the cheapest one, (had some minor damage), up to $185. These are prices I've seen during the past six months. UZI cases of either type tend to be quite "pricey."
A side note here; the Model A came in a blue cardboard box with a styrofoam two sided insert inside for the gun and accessories. The Blue Soft Case was designed originally for the Model A as a "case to take to the range." They are "heavy canvas" and have elastic straps and velcros straps sewn inside to hold the gun and magazines in place. Very high quality and durable cases. Hope this helps!
