7.62x39mm Brass Case?
Is there any 7.62x39 ammo out there with brass cases? Everything that is being sold in bulk seems to come from the Tula factory and have steel cases.

every major ammunition manufacturer in north america, and most of europe offers brass case, reloadable 7.62x39 rounds. winchester, remington, hornady, federal, pmc, norma, sellier & bellot, umc, lapua, etc...
this ammo is more expensive. the best of the lot as far as accurracy and price is the pmc target 7.62x39. with the companies named here you can also purchase unfired, unprimed reloadable brass cases.
you see the berdan primed steel and copper cases for sale because the market is flooded with it. there is enough soviet bloc, and chinese surplus 7.62x39 out there to last us all 200 yrs. many of these factories are now producing "hunting" and "plinking" ammo for the commercial market. this is were the "wolf" brand and the "silver bear" brand come from.
the 7.62x39 cartridge has a bad reputation as innacurate and being of poor quality. this is not the case. many firearms makers(ruger, cz, brno, charles daley, tc) are now offeing quality arms in this chambering. combined with good ammunition the 7.62x39 is fast becoming the .30-30 of this century.
if you want better ammo, you will have to pay more. its out there, and readily available.
