Scope Recommendations

I collect Ruger's with the "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty" roll stamp[:)]. I lucked into a #1-B, 26" barrelled .25-06 at the gun show yesterday[:D]. It has Ruger rings, but no scope[:I]. I always shoot what I acquire, but am not into hunting[8]. Your suggestions would be appreciated[;)].

  If you are not going to expose the set-up to harsh weather and handling you can get away with a Tasco (now out of business, I believe Bushnell has purchased some assets), a lesser Bushnell, Weaver etc. These are all goog scopes and you might pick up a Tasco on clearance, or less, there may be some doubts as to if service/warranty work will be available.
