S&W model 44

The Smith & Wesson model 44 is a single action version of the 9mm semi-auto model 39 pistol, so I think you are probably referring to the .44 mag, model 29 revolver with a 6" barrel.
There are lots of these on this auction with pics and descriptions.
They range in price, depending of condition, anywhere between $400.00 to $700.00. Most do not have presentation cases with them.
