I was wondering if anyone could tell me something about the colt woodsman 22LR ie.. when they were made,there value, ect...

If a Woodsman serial number is 100,xxx without any prefix or suffix letter is it a FIRST series?

I don't have it here, but it does have a magazine release on the bottom, fixed front sight, movable rear sight, 4 1/2" barrel, and "THE WOODSMAN" on the side.

Ok I own it now. Looks like a 1936 model.

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of factory wood grips for it?

Per this web-site you have a "Second Series Woodsman" that was manufactured between 1947 to 1955. Your pistol was made in 1953.
