Boresighters ?
What boresighter do you gentlemen feel is the best and most accurate out there on the market today ?

Personally, I have sighted in dozens of rifles in my lifetime and never once used a bore sighter. Did it the old fashioned way of aiming down the bore of bolt action rifles, and on semi's and pumps, just started with the target at 25 yards and worked forward. About the only people who really need a bore sighter are dealers that set up scopes for people who don't have a clue as to how to sight in a new rifle with scope.
For many of us, bore sighters are a waste of money.

dito to what rafter said, bolt action put the rifle in a gun vice on a bench and look down the bore and then move cross hairs to the spot you see looking down the bbl almost always on paper first shot. had a rifle bore sighted long time ago and wasnt on paper so always figured they was a waste of money. 0 -
I GOT ONE, WISH I HAD SAVED MY MONEY, WHEN I USE IT I STILL START OUT AT 25 YARDS, ONE SHOT THEN ADJ AND GO TO THE 100 YARDS. ALL WAY'S ON PAPER. 0 -
I have a Simmons and it works very well. It has saved me its cost in ammo and I have helped numerous people during sighting day (hunting season) at my range. It was reveals any mounting problems before you leave home. I've found it to be a good investment.

I use a Williams that I bought around 35 years ago. I shoot hi power matchs and would NEVER GO TO A MATCH WITHOUT IT. People like to play with your sights. I know how to use mine well enough that I can put my first sighter in the back at 600 Yards. Don't by a cheap plastic one they are know good. Spend the money to get a good one the first time. saved both time and money, especially if your telescope

I have not, but the general tone of past posts on laser bore sighters has not encouraged me to gain any experience either. 0
