Savage/Stevens 3-in-1
I have the subject rifle. It has a Sears Model Number which equates to Savage Model 6. It has the typical bolt that can be locked to the rear by pushing the operating knob on the bolt into the receiver. It can also be fired as a bolt action by pushing the operating knob on the bolt into the receiver when it is loaded and the bolt closed. It fires semi-automatically when the operating know on the bolt is not engagad. It has a 24 inch barrel, ramp ajustable peep sight on receiver, full length military type stock with upper and lower hand guards, square front sight with military type ears, two barrel bands, one at forward end of the wood, and the other at the upper swivel sling. There is no noticeable corrision on this rifle and no bluing wear. The wood has excellent grain through the stock forward of the trigger guard. Barrel is bright and has had few rounds fired through it. The lower part of the stock forward of the trigger guard has a few minor indentations where the rifle was probable rested on something during firing.
I have found descriptions of this rifle but nothing on approximate value.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
