marlin ballard 22 rifle
i have acquired a 22 lever action rifle made by marlin firearms
patent feb9, 1875 and also ballards nov5, 1861. this is a single shot
variation with octagon barrel. serial number is 23188 near trigger.
does anyone have any idea what the model number is for this rifle ??
it is in very good original condition - what would the value be ??

Need More information on You're Drop Lever Action Marlin/Ballard Single Shot Rifle..A Photo would be appreciated...You could have a Ballards Hunters Rifle or a Gallery Rifle..Maybe a #10 Schuetzen "Junior" Rifle...? Hard to say with out a complete and total discription....
