Scope Cleaning / Repair

I have a Redfield scope that needs cleaning and resealing, The current Redfield People won't take it in for repair,they bought the name only and have no parts for the old Redfields, They offer a trade-in program for one of their products, Simmons, Weaver, Redfield, Etc. Any leads? Thanks, Les

  Drop Bill Ackerman (Oscscope@aol.com) out in Santa Teresa, NM an e-mail & ask him if he'll look at it for you. They'll be closed up for the holidays so you might not hear from him until 1/2/03, but he knows optics & will give you an honest answer

  Jim listed the company that did/does the "unauthorized warranty' repair. They - ABO had a deal for $26 + S&H fixed, & resealed.
  If it's a Redfield: Five Star, Illuminator, Ultimate Illumunator definately worth it.
  Also check out the upgrade program, sometimes can't be beat.
