Any comments on the PCR-16 with the flattop reciver and bull barrel.

Yeah, It's heavy and very accurate. If it doesnt have a target trigger and free floating handguard, get them.
Also look at getting another upper receiver with a light weight barrel
for plinking and house gun.

They shoot real good and function excellent. I haven't had good results with 60 gr loads though.

Great gun at very competitve prices - it is a good choice i think the barrel weight is a none issue. Get a shotgun if you think it going to "become" a house gun.
