What do you think about buying the Olympic .223 Plinker and then buying the free floating heavy stainless barrel upper for it. Do you think that would be a good investment?

    If you're going to spend that much, buy the new Bushmaster Varminter. You'll be shooting 1/4" to 1/2" groups for under $1000.
    Plus Bushmasters are better built although affiliated with Olympic. If you do your ABC's, Olympic is way the hell down the list. Get one for plinking, but you can spend your money better if you want accuracy.[:)]
