    I can tell you that I own 3 of them-a 7 1/2" barrel .45 LC, a 5 1/2" barrel .45 L.C., and a 4 3/4" .44-40. All of mine have brass grip frames and smooth wooden grips. They are good, serviceable revolvers, but not the equal of a Colt or Uberti for quality of fit and finish. I could give them a hearty recommendation as a hunter's sidearm or for casual shooting (mine are very accurate), but I don't believe that they would stand up to the rigors of Cowboy Action Shooting as well as some other choices. It would be hard to give you a value, not knowing what you're looking at or the condition.
