To trade or not to trade?

I have a friend wanting to trade a 95% Norinco Mac 90(synthetic stock and 2 30 rd.mags) for my 100% Smith 38 special Model 60.It would be an even swap.I am undecided about this and would really appreciate any input.Thanks.

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy..W.C.Fields

  hello all...for your consideration.... i have a brand new 99% Auto Ordinance M1 Carbine refurbish with sling oiler, and butstock mag pouch... i know some one who wants to trade me an M1 that has very light surface pitting on the right side of the reciever next to the wood, alittle pitting on the right elevation knob and non consecutive serial #'s (bolt/barrel) the wood looks awsome, and everything else looks to be fine. i dont really know to much about M1's other than what i have read and seen an seen on the history channel.... just wondering if this is a good trade, not really looking for collector value, just want a nice 30-06 shooter... cant make up my mind. would like another opinion... thanks!

  I probably should have added that which ever one I end up will be a trading gun.Which in your opinion would bring more or trade easier?

  Actually neither.Like I said just something to trade on and really didn't know the value of the two.I really want to eventually get a .243,but hard to find reaonable.
