what is this gun worth double barrell 12ga.
Hello, I have a double barrell 12 guage shot gun. Its' make is chicago arms co. It also says Fine Damascus. It has quite a bit of carving and detail and is in fairly good condition. sn#11804. Can anyone help. Thanks, Kenn

Chicago Arms Company was an IMPORTER not a Manufacturer..If you check close, You should find under the Breech End of the Barrels an Oval with the Letters E over LG in its center..I'm guessing that your shotgun is of Belguim Manufacture and was sold thru Chicago Arms Co. sometime between the years 1890-1920...Some specimens were more elaborate than others, coming with Fine Engraving and Checkering..But still made for Black Powder Low Base Shells...Do Not Shoot Modern Smokeless Loads in this Gun..Value wise its Worth $250.00 in Very Good Condition.......
