I have a Ruger stainless 357 Blackhawk and I want to have it customized with a heavy, stainless, 10-inch barrel...would like info on a gunsmith specializing in working on Ruger single action revolver's...mminariksr@cox.net

  Look in the back of a copy of American Handgunner. There are many excellent pistolsmiths who should be able to do what you want. A lot depends on what you want, how much you can spend. and also, alas, wait. Good gunsmiths are usually booked up, but don't let that deter you--they are usually worth it.

  Check with Gary Reider in Flagstaff, AZ. Guy is renown for making top-notch Ruger SA's and conversions.
