Marlin 100th Anniversary

I have a 30-30 lever that is close to new. S/N 70-732XX. It has a 100th medallion in the stock and a gold trigger. My blue book does not list it. Could someone give a value?

  More info would help. Model number for instance. With what you've given, I found a Marlin Centennial matched pair, a 336 30-30 and a model 39 .22 with matching numbers. The two together mare priced at $1500 in 100% condition. No idea if you have half the pair.

  Jeff, I still didn't find anything else. My best guess is that it is half the matched pair, but I can't imagine why anyone would have separated them, and have no idea of what it would be worth by itself.

  Wow, it would be great if you found it! Good luck! Remember it should have the same serial number as the 336 to reach full value.

  I think you'll find that all the Marlins made in 1970 had these medallions.I have had in the past a 1894 .44 Mag,a 336 30/30 and a 336 .35 Rem cal.All the serial numbers start with 70- for the anniversary year.They are worth slightly more in my opinion.
