  I'm looking for a .17 HMR rifle for my son.I'm looking to see if anybody has used any of these rifles and which one is better than the other. Hunter

  I'd probably go with the Ruger. While I'm not of the mindset that Ruger can do no wrong, you are likely to get the most bang for your bucks from a Ruger. If available, I'd get one of their all-weather stainless guns with a synthetic stock.
