Viking Holsters; got info?
I recently aquired this holster and know nothing about the brand name.
It actually looks better than the "mug-shot" pic would have you to believe, and the maker's mark is stamped on the back side in the style shown in the pic. This isn't a high end custom job, but is still of quite good quality for a utilitarian type rig.
Anyone know anything about the Viking brand name, such as where they were located, and maybe the approximate time they were in business? My guess is that this one could be from maybe as early as the late 30's up to maybe the 50's or 60's....
Any guesses?
