If you want to shoot alot, and not fear the kick, get a BAR with a boss. I have one and will not part with it, to my last gun. I also have bolt action rifles. They are accurate but so is my BAR and you have the option of a very fast follow up shot.
What you'll find is that everyone has an opinion, but you are the one that will shoot it.
If you opt for the bolt action, get a good KICK-EZZ pad or a recoil reducer put into the stock. Occasional shooters are not likely to want to feel it kick. Also heavier bulleted loads like 180 grain will generally kick a little harder than say a 125, but not much.
