T/C Omega
I saw a T/C Omega last week and put it on layaway. It seems to be a limited edition model. It has the camo composite stock but the barrel also has a camo finish on it. Does anyone know if this is a limited run? I'm not buying it for collector value but it seems unique and unique is good. Am I deluding myself or will I be one of the only guys in the woods next year with a T/C Omega with a camo-finish barrel? Also, has anyone had any luck with these? I am buying this on reputation alone. So far I have heard only good things about them. What kind of groups should I expect and what is the best bullet to use?

I own a T/C Omega and I think it is the best muzzleloader I have owned. It is easy to clean and shoots less than 1 moa at 100 yards. I use the Hornday XTP 240gr 44 cal with the mag sabots, black sabots, and 2 50 gr clean shot pelets. We have 2 muzzleloader seasons here in Mississippi and I will be able to use it quit a bit.
I have only seen the omega with a ss barrel with the camo stock. I have not seen anything or litture on a spical run of the Omegas. You may have a speical rifle after all. Good hunting, keep your powder dry.

I checked with T/C and they have two camo models in the Omega, #8923 & 8928. They are both listed as regular items, but also listed as HARD TO GET! I have sold several Omega's and the guys are all saying they shoot best with the pyrodex pellets with the 240gr. mag. sabot bullets. Expect to get 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Have fun with it and Happy Hunting.
