German Reichsrevolver value

Is there any way you can be more specific in your description? Reichsrevolvers were made in two basic models by at least 4 different German manufactures, plus the Erfurt government arsenal along with clones made by Belgian arms makers. They vary greatly in desirability and price. i.e. a Military Model 1879 made by Mauser is going to be worth a heck of a lot more then a civilian knock-off made by Auguste Francotte.

Well, the gun is in a store about 50 miles away and I didn't get his card though I am going to be going by there daily starting in January as I am going to commute to college nearby. As I say I didn't look at it closely and don't know the make or model so I suppose I would like the value of each in overall NRA good condition.

Well thanks for the guesses. I'll have another look at it next month and post more details.

If it's a long barrel '79, the asking price is cheap. If a short barrel '83, about right or a little high (unless MADE by Mauser).
