Came across an old mussel loader with the name
J. MEUNIER MILWAUKEE, WIS on barrel.
did anyone hear of him?? Gun is about 85%. value?

  My Book by Satterlee and Gluckman...'American Gun Makers' show's John Meunier to have been active as an American Gun Maker from 1855 to the early 1900's...he Was from Milwaukie, Wisconsin and Died in 1919..
  As to Value of your Gun...? It depends upon what you have...??????
  A complete and Total discription is needed....is it a 1/2 Stock or Full Stock Rifle? Caliber, Type of Wood is the Stock made of...Walnut or Maple? Is it a Bench Gun? Hunting Rifle? Type of Sights, Set Triggers or Single Set Trigger or Single Trigger? Patch Box? Brass Furniture or Steel? Engraved or Not?
