American Arms .44 Mag
Just came into possesion of an American Arms, Regulator Model (Buckhorn) in .44 Mag with 4-inch barrel. Anybody have any experience in firing a similar revolver with .44 Mag ammo...Thought I would try it with .44 Special to see how that worked; but am a little nervous about the .44 Mag loads in a short barreled six-shooter like this.

Uberti makes a decent gun. You shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't develop a severe 'big bore flinch'. Shoot 300 grainers out of my 3" 629-1 or 4" Anaconda. If you want brutal come and shoot my old T/C Contender with the 14" 45/70 (without Muzzel-Tamer porting)!!
