S & W 1500 7 x 64
I just inherited a S&W 1500 in a 7x64 cal. It has a synthetic stock and a Williams sight. It is drilled for a scope. Since I don't hunt, is this cal good for just spending a day at the range, or will my shoulder hate me that night. Thanks for the guidance.

My reference material shows that the metric 7 x 64 cartridge is a hot loaded hunting round equivalent but not interchangeable with our .280 Remington cartridge. My experience is that these metric loads are very expensive. You better raid your piggy bank if your going shoot a lot of this stuff at the range. 0 -
