    Both of the above are very true.I can buy High Caps for the price they sale you guys 10 RNDers.So you know Glock or these catalogs could sale them cheaper and still make a Profit.That same is true with about all companys.They could sale them much cheaper.

    The supply of the non-LEO mags is limited. They are not "supposed" to be making any more. If they could still make them then I would agree that they should be the same price.

    I have some doubts about if some people are importing ones that are new and not stamped LEO only. I keep thinking how may could have been stockpiled before the ban? Wouldn't they have run out? I know my friends and I have put a small dent in the supply and if others have done the same that is a big number of mags. It would be very profitable to go outside of the U.S. and buy them for $10 and sell them here for $100.

    It sickens me when my LEO friends talk about how little they have to pay for mags or guns, when they actually buy them and not the department. Plus, they get the full auto AR's and H&K's and free ammo to shoot in all of them. This is a great bonus for them considering that they have great pay, a good work schedule, respect of all the people in the community, and no chance of getting hurt on the job.[;)]

    AS I UNDERSTAND THE 1994 BAN IT HAS A HOW IS IT PUT A SUN DOWN CLASE,AND I THINK IT STATES THAT IF IT IS NOT RENEWED IT IS NO LONGER IN IFECT. iT IS THE SAME AS THE THE DEATH TAX. SO IN 2004 THE HI-CAP/ ASALT BAN IS OVER UNLESS IT IS PUT INTO BILL FORM AND PASSED BY BOTH HOUSES AND THE PRESIDENT. PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!!

    I wouldn't bet too heavily that the ban will sunset in '94 without being re-newed. Even for Repubilcans, it well might be political suicide NOT to support is't renewal. Bush and Ashcroft both have stated they will support the ban. You might even find several pro-gun dealers who, having invested heavily in high capacity mags, will quitely support renewal of the ban, otherwise, the value of their stock will go down.

    Still I say if they can sale a 15RD Mag for 13.99 they could also sale 10 RD mags for that price and make it fair for all.

    Smokeeater we cant buy HK MP-5s or fully automatic weapons or anything of that nature.Swat teams have them but their Dept owned,and stay at Headquarters locked up.Until the swat leader opens up for them or a SGT opens and releases them.As for ammo on the house,Nope Im the Firearms Instructor for our Division.I issue ammo for training qualifying,and street Duty.Its mostly Federaly Grants where we get our ammo Money,and I have to keep Record for each case.Im with you guys on this one,I dont think the 10RD Mags should sale Higher than a new 15 RD one.Someone is makeing good money.I can go to a Police supply company that sends out catalogs one of many I get and buy a new Glock 17 for$425.00 Officer price/Dept price$385.00 than lets see a Colt AR-15 semi-auto only for $850.00 Officer or $770.00 Dept.Im saying if they can sale them for that and still make a profit,they should come down for everyone.Someone posted on here that Uncle Sam paid Colt $300.00 and some odd dollars.They could cut there prices for all.The Goverments are fully automatic where LE would be only semi-auto or three RD burst for swat.
