savage arms model 1914

I recently inherited a savage arms model 1914 chambered in 22 short, long, and long rifle. It is in A-2 condition with small amounts of surface rust on the receiver. I am having trouble finding out info about the rifle, it's history and its value. I love old guns and enjoy learning about their history.

  Savage Model 1914....22 Short, Long, Long Rifle. Slide action, hammerless. Tubular Magazine: 20 Shorts, 17 Longs, 15 Long Rifles. 24" Barrel, Octagon or half-octagon. Open rear, bead front sights. Weight: 5 3/4 lb. A takedown rifle produced from about 1915 to 1924.

  keep this gun I have one that has seen terrible abuse and it still outshoots all the other 22's I have other than the 512 Remington
