It is fact that damaged barrel at the muzzle or a damaged or bad crown can affect accuracy and shot placement. Has anyone ever tried to alter the muzzle or crown to inprove or move shot placement in the desired direction as needed ?
( old double barreled shot gun into smooth bore double rifle.)
    "just curious."

No! case size is totally different. If you put a .380 into the chamber of a 9mm it will not seat and fall down into the chamber

Depends on the revolver. If it uses star clips (half-moons,etc) then maybe. 9mm Para rounds and 380's are tapered so the case will likely be stretched beyond being able to reload later. Stick with the 9mm, you're already losing energy from cylinder gap, don't short-change yourself by using a 380.
