Need help with Star Super-B
I recently purchased a Star Super-B, and am having a couple of problems with it. First, a spent shell will get hung up in the ejection port, standing straight up. Range master said it was called a "stove pipe". Secondly, a spent shell will not always eject from the gun and a "live" round will get stuck behind it. These two problems occurred about 5-10X, while shooting 100 rounds of Magtech 9mm Luger ammo. I am new to guns, and would appreciate any assistance anyone could offer.

I had the same problem. I took the mag apart and cleaned it. The inside of the mag was so gooked up it slowed it down enough to cause problems. CLEAN THE MAG. They come pretty crude filled.

MOST OLD TIMERS TAKE THIS FOR GRANTED, BUT THIS PISTOL IS RECOIL OPERATED AND IT HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO RECOIL AGAINST (SAME AS ANY M-1911 TYPE). KEEP YOUR WRIST LOCKED, AND TAKE THE RECOIL WITH YOUR ARM AND SHOLDER. IF YOU 'LIMP WRIST' THIS TYPE OF PISTOL YOU CAN GET FAILURE TO EJECT (STOVE PIPE) AND FAILURE TO FEED. 0 -

Should clean the mag every month or so anyway... But it couldn't hurt to change the mag spring, too. Or at least stretch it out.0 -

I also have one of these Super B model pistols. I notice you said you were shooting 9mm shells. Mine is chambered for the 9mm Largo, which is longer & more powerful. If you are shooting 9mm parabellum they will not cycle the action. 0 -

Yes , make sure as to caliber of gun & ammo , try the suggested items , if still no luck , let us know , we "fix" problem guns , reasonable....
