ranger .22

i have a .22 bolt action Ranger
i cant find anyting out about this rifle can anyone help me
how much is it worth
it is in 80-90%

  there were a number of .22 rifles marked "Ranger". Marlin made their first bolt action single shot model 34 both with the Marlin and Ranger stamping. They also made the later magazine-fed model 80 with the same format. Stevens made a heavy-barrel magazine fed bolt action target rifle marked "Ranger", which is the same as their model 416.
  The Gun Parts Corp. catalog has some other cross-references to Ranger models.

  Doc:Another possibility-which dovetails well with the answer already given by j2k22-is the fact that "Ranger" was used as a brand name by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the '20s and '30s, and they sold guns of all descriptions under that name. I have a Savage/Stevens 311 shotgun on which the only marking is Ranger and 16 ga. It took me years to find out that it was a Stevens sold by Sears. When that's all the information I have to go on I usually thumb through the parts catalogs until I find a picture that looks like what I've got, and then investigate further. The Gun Parts Corp. catalog is a good one, but perhaps even better is the one put out by Jack First Co. that has some really old, obsolete guns in it. Really, though--you didn't give us much to go on-- such as is your rifle single shot, tube fed, clip fed, etc.? Other clues like does it have a plastic finger grip piece inletted into the front of the pistol grip area, etc. would help. Any logo on the buttplate?
