Browning Model 53 Deluxe--- Worth ?

Attention Browning Collectors--I have a Browning Model 53 Deluxe, Limited Edition.It is NIB, unfired, with owner's manual. I am thinking of transferring it to a friend of mine in the US for resale. Before I consider dealing with all the paperwork needed in order to send it to an FFL holder in the US,anybody care to give me a pretty good idea of the gun's worth? Many thanks.

  What it is worth is generally what other individuals would be willing to sell it for.
  Check the 'Gun List", a bi-monthly publication and look under the Browning rifle category. The Browning repro's of the Winchesters are now generally off the dealer shelves. This drives the price up since the availability is now mostly from the private sector. It is certainly worth more than $650.
