Colt Ar-15 Big hole .. Little hole
I have looked at some pre-ban Colt Ar-15's and noticed the seller specifying the front screw on the lower receiver being big or small. What is the deal? And what is all the fuss with the sear block? I am not going to commit a felony by possessing any auto sears ect.

Colt recievers had a larger hole than other brand recievers. If you put another brand upper on your Colt reciever you have to use a special offset pin to make it work (about 10.00). I dont know if they make a pin for a colt upper with the big hole and another brand lower. As for the sear block, you could install a auto sear on early Colt recievers. Later models were modified so you could'nt. You could use the forum search as this was discussed in great detail a couple of weeks ago. 0
