"collectible?" Nagant
I have a Mosin Nagant model 91 dated 1898 which still bears the original Czarist markings. The communists restamped many of these rifles, so I'm wondering if this one may be somewhat rare?

It is rarer. But there is no truly great value to these guns. They are great shooter, cheap to shoot, but never quit caught on in this country. The date is the Number one $$ maker. Since it is a 1898 date, you do not need a ffl to ship it. Some people will pay more for this. There are also other factors that add up, like where ther action was made at, shape of the action, if it is a captured gun, import marks. Mostly your looking at around $200 or so as long as the gun is in orignal good condition and your willing to ship it. You might get lucky and find a nagant collector taht will pay more. But with Like new guns being imported and selling for around $100. There aren't much in clooector value to these. 0 -
