AK 47 PRE-PRE BAN ??
HI MY QUESTION I HAVE A AK BUT DON'T KNOW WHO OR WERE IT WAS MADE. IT HAS THIS STAMPED IN THE LEFT SIDE OF RECIVER. GSAD MANH.

Your receiver marking is one of the reasons that the BATF changed the standards for imported firearms markings- it is too hard to figure out. If memory serves me your rifle was imported by Golden State Arms Division (not to be confused with the old Golden State Arms Co. of Pasadena, CA), Manhatten Beach, CA. This importer was very active during the mid to late 1980's and I visted their shop a few times. They imported a number of interesting firearms including an excellent selection os SIG rifles and handguns. The 1989 Federal ban hurt the company and the California State ban killed them off for good. your AK was no doubt made in China since I don't think Golden State imported any other makes. Quite frankly I had not thought of that place in many years...they had a nice store and the folks were very easy to deal with. I bought a number of hard to find SIG acessories from them for my AMT, PE-57, and P210 handguns.
