    Are you sure that the last digit is a B.Also what model is it ? Most likely a Mod. 94 and yes ammo is still available.

    Actually the 94 was never chambered for 32wcf. It would be a 92 or a 73. The ammo you're looking for is also known as 32-20 wcf. Yes it is readilly available thanks to cowboy action shooting.

    Sorry,I mistook the .32WCF for the .32 SPL. maybe that explains the b in the serial number.

    your `94 was made between 1911-1912. .32 WCF is the same cartridge as .32 winchester special. (.30-30 is .30 wcf) if the gun has a 20" bbl then that may explain the B. we can get you the ammunition, but it is not that hard to find.

    i have a pre-64 `94 in .32 winchester special with a 20" bbl, but much later then yours. they are nice guns. hope i helped. best regards, mike.

    You have a model 1873 also called 73 made in 1904. It is not a 32 special. It is a 32/20. A 32 winchester Special will only be marked 32 winchester special.The 32 wcf a.k.a. 32/20 wcf is what you gun is chambered for. There were three winchester 32 cartridges. The 32 wcf, 32 winchester special, and 32/40 winchester. The 32/32-20 wcf is a pistol class cartridge and much shorter than the other two. If you somehow managed to get a 32 special into a 32/20 magazine (which I doubt) you would never get it out without a gunsmith. The "B" stands for a manufacturing change. Ammunition is made for your gun by Winchester, Remington, Black Hills, along with several other companies that make cowboy type ammo. I advise you stick with the ammo marked cowboy due to the guns age and the fact that the 73 isn't the strongest action. Also beware there was a 32wcf HS(high speed) round. This should never be fired in a 73 or a hangun.

    He hasn't defined it as a repeater or a single shot.
    The Hi Wall and Low Wall were also made in 32-20 aka 32WCF.

    His serial number is in the 73's range and the 73 in the link also has a "B" suffix.

    The 32 wcf, commonly known as the 32 special are the same cartridge. The cartridge is simply a 30-30 necked up to a 32 caliber, just as the 25-35 is the 30-30 necked down to a 25 cal. The 32-20 wcf. will fall into the chamber of the 32 wcf. as it is about the size of a 38 special pistol, but was made both in a rifle [mostly 92's] and pistols. As far as I know all of the older Winchesters were marked with the model on the tang. At least my 32 wcf. [special] is marked model 94
