SAVAGE 19 NRA MATCH RIFLE .22CAL.
I have a Savage NRA MATCH RIFLE and purchased an second model 19 for parts ,completely different bolt, the orignal rifle pushes brass around the firing pin hole, haven't tried different ammo yet, but it just bulges the the brass. any ideas? headspace maybe? finding parts for these is tough. Its a real neat manlicher and a good shooter. is this an easy fix? open for input. foxchaser1@earthlink.net

Which one is goofed up? The one with 2 extractors and single firing pin?
That one can't be re-bushed, but can be built up with weld and bored. That pin hole was formed by milling a channel and folding over the ears to form a hole, not welded.
I have one extra bolt, the one with dual firing pin and single extractor. Same 2 styles are on Sporters and 23a's

you can adjust headspace with a 'washer' between the front and rear parts of the bolt. 0 -
By any chance, do you have an extra rear sight?

king-
No, I don't have an extra sight, neither has Numrich. They haven't had them for at least 12 years.
That's a rare item.0 -
