confused about my colt pistol!?!?

I have what a Colt Series 80 MKIV pistol. I bought it on my 21st b-day. I didn't know a lot except my Daddy always had a Colt and it had served him for longer than I was old. I was told is was an Officer's Concealed Carry model. It has a 4.25" barrel and an officer's frame. Sounds good, so far. I have been told that these have an aluminum frame and are matte finish and the slide is stainless and has C C O stamped on it. Well mine has Combat Commander Model on the stainless slide, the frame is an officers but it is also stainless. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. What do I have and what is it worth???
